ANSI 107 High-Visibility Available in TenCate Tecasafe Plus with Coolderm Technology
High-visibility and extraordinary comfort come together in both knit and woven fabrics.
With moisture management to keep wearers cool on hot days and dry on cool days, Tecasafe Plus with Coolderm Technology provides protection that never washes out or wears away.
The High-Visibility Yellow meets ANSI 107 requirements. The High-Visibility Yellow and the Orange pass Canadian CSA Z96 standards.
If your needs have required for a particular class in high-visibility such as Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3, those are all based on garment design.
ANSI Class Choices and Garments
TenCate Protective Fabrics manufactures only the FR fabric itself. The garment design is handled by one of our partners. Please consult with the garment maker to determine if it meets ANSI 107 Class 1, ANSI 107 Class 2 or ANSI 107 Class 3 standards.
ANSI Class 1: If a worker is in an area where vehicles or equipment speeds do not exceed 25 mph (40 kph), ANSI 107 Class 1 is the acceptable choice.
ANSI Class 2: For workers exposed to vehicles traveling at speeds in excess of 25 mph (40 kph), ANSI 107 Class 2 should be selected.
ANSI Class 3: Workers on near traffic traveling at high speeds who should be visible at a minimum distance of 1,280 feet (390 meters) should select ANSI 107 Class 3.
TenCate Protective Fabrics creates and manufactures textiles specifically to protect linemen, electricians and other utility workers.
Whether daily workwear or specific PPE for dangerous tasks, all of the fabrics TenCate makes use inherent flame-resistant fibers, meaning the protection never washes out or wears away.
And TenCate makes the most comfortable fabrics available, some incorporating Coolderm™ Technology, which wicks moisture like sweat away from your skin, keeping workers cooler when it’s hot and drier when it’s cool.
Only TenCate Protective Fabrics offers the comfort and protection electricians, linemen and other utility workers need on the job.
